Photo shoot
After a creative consultation with the photographer, your photo shoot will be completely tailored around you, bringing your imagination to life. All our photo shoots are shot using analogue cameras and colour film negative. A slower uninterrupted flow, allows the client to be fully emerged in the shooting experience, without the distraction of screens. At the end of the photo shoot, we will schedule a viewing of the contact sheets.
Contact sheet viewing
The viewing of the contact sheets is the next creative step in the process. A contact sheet is made directly from the negatives used on the day of the shoot. This is a print showing all your images in full positive colour like a mini photo album. From here, the client can choose their favourite images and select from a number of different printing sizes.
Darkroom print
We take the negatives from the images selected by the client at the viewing, and commence with the final step in the darkroom. This entire process takes place in a completely light sealed room, producing bespoke prints without the aid of any digital equipment. The prints are then mounted by hand and packaged for our client.
